Dear colleagues...

Dear colleagues,
Is it necessary to have a birthday cake each and every time someone has a birthday? Couldn't we celebrate birthdays monthly? And in lieu of a cake, couldn't we have fresh fruit for birthday celebrations? Don't you know I'm trying to fit in to my wedding gown here and fighting the urge EVERY DAY to eat cake is becoming extremely difficult??
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Your colleague who has no self control when it comes to cake.

lol

In our office we have the choice of a cake or a breakfast so when i choose the breakfast they always make sure to get me fruit because it would be all i eat. the bagels rolls & donuts just dont fit into my menu!!! lol

Re: Dear colleagues...

that is annoying!!! my office does the monthly thing...but most of the time, it turns out to be an every 3 months kind of thing. even worse than cake...they also give us wine, beer, chips, cookies, brownies, grrrrrrr. Everytime we have a birthday celebration...my boss and I end up being the last ones in the office finishing off the beer.

Just kidding. I know- those ba$tard$!! They do that to me too. I went to Target with a co-worker today and she bought more candy corn. Now I don't normally have sugar because I do the low carb thing but CHRIST! Enough with the candy!

This should to be to everyone. I feel like since I got engaged everyone has been trying to feed me tons of fattening food. Starting Tuesday I am going on a crazy diet.

Dear Students,

It is really necessary for me to remind you to write your name on your test, and also to flip the page over to see if there are more questions on the back? I mean really, your 15 years old lets just try to act like we are.

Thank you, your tired wedding crazed science teacher.

Re: Dear colleagues...

Wasn't that a Seinfeld episode? Elaine got practically blacklisted at her job for complaining about celebrating everyone's birthdays...having cake and singing all the time - I love that show!!!!

What about this one...

Dear Co-worker,

Please dont make me feel guilty when I dont buy $100 worth of garbage from your kids school fundrasier rip-off magazines. I am trying to pay for a wedding here. Thanks.

Dear Annoying Parent,
Please refrain from speaking badly about me in Spanish to my Teacher Assistant (who was just filling in for the day) because I understand what you are saying even though you think I don't!!! It's not my fault that my real Teacher assistant was out sick today. Thank you!!

Yours Truly,
The stressed out bride who understands spanish

PS- I would appreciate it if you wouldn't stay in my classroom for an hour. That is why your child cries!!
