Dear Delinquent Wedding Guest...
The deadline for our wedding RSVP has now passed, yet I have not received your response. Please do not assume that I 'know' you are coming. Afterall I did not assume that you 'knew' you were invited. I took the time to send you an invitataion complete with a self addressed stamped response card and evelope.
If I 'knew' you were coming I would have saved myself the cost of the stamp, don't you think?
Please respond even if you are not coming. The 'no' RSVP is just as important as the 'yes' RSVP. I need an accurate headcount for the caterer.
And, finally please mail back the card even if you told me that you were coming. It makes it easier to do the table seating, and to get the accurate aforementioned headcount.
With that said, I look forward to opening my mail box this week and seeing your very special RSVP in there waiting for us.
Thank you,
Bride and Groom

Re: Dear Delinquent Wedding Guest...
WE had 33 outstanding when our reply date passed. Only about 10 of those actually ended up coming back...The rest of the 'deadbeat guests' (as FH calls them) we had to track down by phone or e-mail...And some of them were actually planning on attending!!! Unbelieveable!

Re: Dear Delinquent Wedding Guest...
You are hereby hired to draft a letter to the guests who cancelled at the last minute without sendintg a gift. Please inform them that I paid for their seats and that the other guests at their table enjoyed their meals. Please also inform them that I cannot attend their future events. Oh forget it. I dont want them to know that part because I plan to cancel at the last minute!!
I think you should write a book called 'Letters from the Bride.'

Re: Dear Delinquent Wedding Guest...
I'm still amazed at how many people didn't bother to send back the response card. About 18 out of 120. Including my brother.

Re: Dear Delinquent Wedding Guest...
ok...so with our RSVP date having officially passed, we are missing 34 cards. FMIL just went down PART of the list and said who she thought were NOs...and then said 'so&so is a maybe'honestly, she better start calling some people.

That is a really good idea! Do you know how many brides would pay for a book like that. Even if they read it for a laugh! Welcome New Vendors
