dear Greeny

I would like an explanation as to why you don't want to know what my homepage is.

Thank you,

Lau

You know, I sat here for a second and was like

I noticed you left me a comment on my website (totally stoked about that btw ) and I was tryin to figure out what this thread had to do with it.

I totally forgot the homepage question.

Re: dear Greeny

yes.

ETA: I had no idea all you hows were on LIF. I'm not a big fan of the site b/c I don't know too many people over there and most of the time if I post something it gets a TON of views but no responses. Ironically if a more well known posters post the same question they get a TON of responses so I sort of gave up.

i know. i'm a cry baby. i'm over it.

Was it broken before? I have no idea. I've been screwing around with it daily for weeks now.

I write some of the posts in html code so if I forget a slash here or a bracket there, the whole site gets pretty funky looking.

Re: dear Greeny

I'm reeling that you came to my website, twice even!

Jennie, my website is: http://www.greenfreak.net.

I used to get people stopping by all the time for the wallpaper, gardening stuff, orchid stuff. Then I changed webhosts and now the great positioning I had in google results is gone gone gone.

I have to make nice-nice with google. I have to buy it a present or something.

Re: dear Greeny

nice. so you're the one i can come to when i kill my impatients or other pretty flowers?

i have a brown thumb.

Re: dear Greeny

Impatiens were my first gardening love. The New Guinea Impatiens, with the big glossy leaves and the huge flowers are much better than the smaller ones. They're prone to mold though, if they're kept damp.

So I guess that should answer your question... I've killed enough plants over the years to know which ones can handle a firm hand.

Re: dear Greeny

clearly you know your stuff! i like the new guinea impatients too...

btw, where did you take your wedding portraits? it's such a pretty location.

Re: dear Greeny

That's Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay. We had the ceremony there too. The wedding coordinator actually put our picture up on their website. I was really happy with them.

Except one thing that I was going for that I missed by one week.

The rose trellis in this picture:

Looked like this about 10 days later:

I'm still a little miffed about that. Can you tell?

I think we're going to go back this summer, and I'm going to bring a tripod and recreate some of our wedding portraits, but in regular clothes. I thought that might be cute.

Everything else was utterly perfect, I really shouldn't nitpick. But I do anyway.

Crap. I just realized that we're talking about the wedding in NWR.

Think this thread will get moved to BHB?
