Dear lady on the bus... (VENT)

Dear lady sitting in the front seat on my way home on the nj transit bus,

Please don't give me a disgusted 'can you wait, do you have to sit here' when i ask very politely 'can i sit here please' and make nosies when you have to move your 3 bags that you lug aroudn with you and your jamba juice smoothie... Then when you finally move it after you stop all the other people from getting on ask 'do you like this particular seat' DO I NEEEED TO EXPLAIN MYSELF TO YOU? i get motion sickness need the front 2 seats or i die on my 45 min + ride home in traffic.. do you want me to vomit and stink up the whole bus? b/c you were bratty about movign ur crap!!!
Then this lady proceeded to talk loudly on her cell phone and the driver had to tell her a few times ti be quiet.

UGggg i really really hate my commute...

Thank you
Polite bus rider

I totally hear you. I take the NJT bus as well. My commute is not as long, but why in the hell do people feel you have to explain to them why you want a particular seat. It is damn RUDE to put all your crap in the seat next to you, particularly if you are riding up front where most people like to sit if they can anyway because they don't want to have to traipse all the way from the back of that rocking bus when it's time to get off.

When she asked me 'Do you LIKE this particular seat'? I would have said 'No, I like the one YOU'RE sitting in but your fat butt got to it first.'

Oh I totally hear you about the subway! (Since I got married and moved to NJ, I no longer have to take the subway because I walk from PA to my job.) I'm so grateful I don't have to take the subway anymore. I took it for YEARS because I lived in Queens before I got married. I have to take it periodically for like a dentist appt. or a quick trip to a particular store, and I'm always like 'how the hell did I deal with this for YEARS day in and day out???'
