I hear ya!!! FH and I have been house hunting for almost a year and a half now. We just started looking into coops because houses are just at a ridiculous price and we can't afford it.

WELCOME TO MY WORLD!!!! This has been my life since JULY!!!!!! You need to find someone to do the work for you. without the strings attached ( good luck, I'm still looking). I told FH we are taking a break until January b/c I am stressed with that nonsense...

Amen! I am putting off house-hunting for as long as I can. Everyone keeps asking me and I am like . I am not even going to start loking until next Spring because I am dreading it.

Looking for a house was the worst thing ever!!! And when we found something we liked someone was always there to outbid us. We kept at it though and found something we love. It is amazing how much more expensive it is to live here though. My friend from college and her husband bought a house in North Carolina (he was transfered there for his job) for like a quarter of what we paid for our and its on like double the amount of property!!

i hear you !!!! i hate house hunting i havent even started to go open house looking just looking on the computer and if we ssee a house we like then we find out the taxes will break the bank....... i dont understand how people afford to live.
