Dear MTV

Just this weekend I saw a commercial on MTV that I assumed was for beer of some kind. It showed 7 extremely attractive young model-types playing spin the bottle - very beer commercial-esque, but much to my amazement it was for Real World: Denver. Um MTV, can I define two words for you:

Real - existing or occurring as fact; actual rather than imaginary, ideal, or fictitious; True

World - the Earth; the public generally

So why, oh why MTV is the representative folks of the 'Real World' not very representative of the 'REAL' world?

You suck and I miss Real World: NY (season 1 - not return to), LA and San Francisco.

I am desperately going to try boycotting this season. Until I'm sick at home and they play every episode back to back. Then I'm screwed.

OMG I laughed out loud when I read this. Isn't it just the truth? How many seasons of Real World have I said I wasn't going to watch, but I still did......(although last season I only caught about 1/3 of the episodes, so that is progress!)

PS - Are you watching the new RW/RR challenge? It is on Thursday night now, and I kind of love it. Next week - Tina vs Beth

I was trying to figure out who else hooks up throughout the show - in the preview for the season, but it is so fast!


Did you see the commercial where Wes says he is sa-tan (who knew that is **** out?), and then they show him crying? Haha - Wes is so amusing with his anecdotes. I wonder if he is still with Johanna.......

ETA: Clearly I have no life, and instead I live vicariously through MTVers (did you note how all the guys are increasingly more buff each challenge - clearly they have no jobs other than working out and going on challenges. Lucky!)

I'll look at buff guys, even if they are totally stupid. Though I so heart Derick.

I love CT, even with his face covered with hair.
What happen to Coral, she keeps it real. She doesn't hide anything for anyone.
