If, after not getting in contact with us AT ALL and us having to stalk you to get your rsvp of yes even though YOU ARE IN THE WEDDING, you then decide you are NOT coming 12 days before EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE IN THE WEDDING, at least have the FCUKIN decency to TELL US YOURSELVES instead of going through a friend and then avoiding our calls/emails/texts/fb messages.

Same thing happened to us. Not as close to the wedding but 2 months before. his GM rsvped no. I thought it was a joke. He wouldn't call my dh back. He sent an email that he was going to be in italy. W t f. My husband hasn't spoken to him since and doesn't plan to. Soooo messed up. He knew him since hs!

to answer some of the questions...

i've posted a few times about this couple. they have a new baby who was a premie and had some health issues

we told them NUMEROUS times if they couldnt make it we totally totally understand we just need to know (back a month ago) and they last told us the baby was home and fine, plus the baby's maternal grandparents live in nyc (the couple lives in boston) so they have help when they come here. that was the last we heard

then this. as far as we know there have been no new developments, they are posting pics of them at home and out and about with baby, and we still have not heard one word from them since they told us they were coming - all we heard was that they told our mutual friend yesterday when she asked (because they;re avoiding our calls/texts) that they werent going to make it

even if it IS something with the baby, if they can answer our friend's text why not ours? just tell us yourselves!

you're absolutely right ... you shouldn't have to stalk them in order to find out if they're coming or not. That's totally ridiculous and very obnoxious of them!
