Why oh why must you pack each individual item in its own bag? I only bought 10 things and ended up with 15 bags....I love carrying a million bags into my apartment with my cat nipping at my feet while my hands are entangled in 3 bags for one roll of toilet paper. Thank you, it is much appreciated.

You should save them...I heard that they are going to stop making them for environmental reasons, so you are going to have to bring your own bags in the near future. I just don't know how near lol.

they have been doing that in Poland since forever. Maybe they changed it now, but from what i remember you got to bring your own bag or buy one.

I use my extra plastic bags for the bathroom garbage can, for bringing my breakfast to work, and to pack toiletries when I travel just in case they leak or something they don't ruin anything else!

They did that in Uzbekistan as well, i remember my mom carrying bags wen we went to the store.

UGH they are annoying and not to mention how slow they can be - like they just dont care - i never had that problem when i went to them upstate, just LI - really frustrating!

I use them as garbage bags and I also use them for my wet bathing suit at the gym.
FH and me have a whole bunch of the cloth shopping bags from Stop & Shop..those bags fit more stuff in them then any of those plastic bags. I highly recommend them!

Glad to see other people get annoyed by this.
Now, I totally used to save ALL my plastic bags to use for all the uses you guys mentioned until one day FH opened the cabinet under the sink and was like, WHY ARE THERE A MILLION PLASTIC BAGS....
and then he threw them away and forbade me to stockpile them anymore
