I was just wondering why the heck you decide to NOT write your names on the RSVP cards when you send them back. There is a line there for you to put your name, so why not write it.

PS thank god I # the back of the responses just in case

My sister warned me that people are clueless and will not write their names down on the line so as a precaution, she put a small # on the back of the response card that corresponded with the guestlist, so i would be able to match them

Re: Dear Wedding Guests..............
Everyone should do that. I had two come back that I needed the number. One she didn't write her name, the other was an old aunt, she changed back to her maiden name and I wouldn't have had any clue who it was if it hadn't been numbered.
I used a ghost writer pen. My guests can't seen the number, but I can take a decoder pen and pull the number up when necessary.

Re: Dear Wedding Guests..............
Dear Wedding Guests,
Thank you for your generous Cash gift. In the future, it would be greatly appreciated if you would sign your name in the card so we know how to thank you and not wait to see who came that we didn't get a gift from and try to narrow it down and figure out who you are.
