You are officially the least vegetarian-friendly (or fish-eater only-friendly) establishment of all - which says alot since everyone knows McDonalds is quite evil. First you take the veggie pita off the menu. I forgave you because you added a lovely Spring Mix Salad with honey roasted pecans and cheeses (it wasn't a pita, but still quite good). Then you got rid of the honey roasted pecans - and forced me to get the crouton option. Now you have removed the Spring Mix Salad and replaced it with another chicken salad (as if 4 weren't enough) and a taco salad (eww). You are also the only fast food establishment who does not offer a fish or veggie sandwich. GRRRR - I am officially on strike as I refuse to be relegated to side salad territory.

It s ucks - all of the fast food places are taking off their fruit/veggie options because those items aren't selling. A lot of them (like McD's) make 80% of their profits off of 20% of their menu. I'm guessing Wendy's got rid of that fruit/yogurt salad too?

I miss the pitas so much. They were awesome! They should definitely bring them back - the pitas could appeal to the low carb crowd or something.
Yeah no more fruit and yogurt - just a boring side salad which is pretty much just lettuce, cucumber and tomato.

I loved the pita too! I wish they didnt get rid of it. I usually just get the baked potato and sometimes ask them to give me sandwhich with everything on it (all veggies) and no meat.

I was HEARTBROKEN when they took the pitas off the menu..they were SOOOOOO good....
I'll ignore the fact that several times I found a stray piece of chicken in it
And what the heck IS with the lack of fish..hello?
you need chili and loaded backed potatos, but can;t have a fish sandwich

So how do we get them to hear us about the pitas? It was a perfect staple for me when I was on WW a while ago. I would order the Chicken Ranch pita with no dressing and take it home. I would add my fat free ranch dressing at home and it was 7 points! I had one of those for dinner along with 5 nuggets or a chili and the whole dinner was 12 points! That used to make me very happy.

I thought I was the only one who loved the Pitas.. i was so sad when they took them off the menu - I still b*tch about them and FH doesnt even remember what Pitas I am talking about. He says I was probably the only one who ordered them, so thats why they took it off the menu.

Make that 6 - I used to LOVE the veggie ceasar pita. Even though, like marymoon's mine were prone to include the stray piece of chicken now and again. It's better that they don't have them, thought, because if I were to walk into a Wendy's I would have to get fries and a coke as well.

ETA: FH stopped by to give me the fish fillet, and when I opened it I realized they gave him chicken by mistake. Talk about anticlimactical

that's a very important rule in retail also- the top 20% of items- should be 80% of the profit- or it's time to cut the bottom 20%
it ***** when things you like are in that bottom 20%
