Totally! I think there is a misconception that the boards will be happy everyday! This is the real world. As long as you are not being attacked, you can walk right by it.

I think we would all really benefit from a GOOD intro to human communications class-- HOW we talk to people, how things are said-- and other ways we could say things to make it so people don't take it the wrong way.... IE:

May I have your phone number for our store records?

NO, what do you want to steal my identity?? I dont give out my number!!! i think anyone who asks for phone numbers at stores are stupid for doing so, don't hate me- it's just my opinion and i'll say what i want. but i can't believe you asked that of me!!!

instead of that, how about:

'Actually, my number is not listed'

or

'I'm sorry, I don't like to give it out, thanks'

-- Just thought I would throw a RANDOM example out there for you guys-- now i'm heading over to the cocktail thread

i think you may have taken that the wrong way-- i was just simply stating that i agree with you and that letting the other stuff go, not what you are talking about now, was a good idea-- i was agreeing with you... no drama whatsoever.-- believe me, i'm not being smug, i'm serious.

thanks so much eliana-- i took 2 classes in that and it helped me so much-- i think about the way i used to communicate and no wonder people misinterpreted what i said half the time! lol also-- it helped me a lot in relationships, how to effectively argue (i always win with FH hahaha) and just in general convo--- esp. how to nail a job interview! well, with that said-- it's quitting time for me!!! yay work is over and tomorrow is friday...

have a great afternoon everyone-- please be kind to one another and after you write something, re-read it and try to think of a nicer way to say it-- life's too short to be snippy and maybe you might make more friends, who knows? it's worth a shot!

The post Cee had on here that said Dear LIF ladies. there was no cursing on that thread. Why was it pulled and not the one to investigate who she is was not?

I agree Renee-- very well said and you are right, it got SO out of hand by a lot of people who knew exactly what they were doing. It's not fair and I sent a FM to Client Services about it. I witnessed everything first-hand before it was pulled and if Cherese did any wrong-doing the others who were involved did the same if not, worse because they kept it going... even when people from BOTH sides of the fence told them to stop.

I wish this would just go away!!! But it's not fair about Cherese... and she did do a lot to help others, it's a shame.

It's a shame that she does not know how to talk without insults or personal attacks....I never personally attacked her, I gave her my opinion when asked for it, and she called me a loser and a 'rass' (whatever the heck that means)

I don't know what going on, what happened? All I remember was her post saying that she is infamous on LIF.
FYI rass means A$$... she called you an A$$.

People in the caribbean use that term alot...
