I'm in a little place called Harrisonburg... in the Shanendoah Valley, sort of near West Virginia.
I'm about 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours from Va Beach... depending on which one of my friends from the beach you talk to...

I have some family down there too - Grandpa used to own a condo there, but he sold it this past May

oh we don't know...we are going to try to meet DH family for the Grand Illumination in Dec...but it depends on a lot of things...

I've never been to that - i only ever went to VA Beach in the spring or summer.
Have fun if you do go though :)
