we have to call sometime after may 1st to see what apartments are availible in july. We're guessing if the previous tennent moves out on the 30th of June, that the apartment will be ready for us around the 5th. Ideally we'll move the 8th of July so that DH won't have to commute to Manassas from Edinburg for more than a few days.

Yep! I was checking out a few of their dates a few weeks ago... I wish I could go to the 80's night, but I'm going to richmond that weekend!
Are they going to have any toward the beginning of july? everything they have booked is toward the end...
