Hello to all the 04 brides. I am fairly new to the board so I wanted to say Hi.
We recently booked at the Riviera but haven't even started with other vendors yet. I guess I better get to it before everyone who got engaged this Christmas beats me to it.
I went to Macy's Bridal in Manhasset just to start trying on dresses...and found my dress. I can't believe it was so easy (I am a VERY picky person when it comes to clothes) They were really great there. I am getting my veil from them too, a royal length Ivory single layer with a scattered dusting of pearls and sparkels. Head piece is a bit of a pickle though, I'll be posting a request for help on that on the general board. Here's a picture o my dress...I am so excited!!!

Gorgeous dress.
I got my dress there too.. Faye helped me..she was so nice. I was there this last weekend to try on my dress cause it came in. I just love the service there at Macy's in Manhasset.

To answer your questions.
Yes the Dress is Demetrios form the Young Sophisticates Collection.
Engagement story ... In a nut shell it was that really warm day (in Nov.) Sat Nov 1 to be exact. IT was almost 80 degrees that day and we went to jones beach. We were sitting by the water and he proposed as the sun was almost done setting. TOTALLY surprised me which was a shock because we have been dating for almot 5 years, living together for 2, we commute to NYC together everyday, pretty much always know where the other one is. The ring was in our apartment for over a month and I had no idea.

HI! Welcome to the boards. Oh my god, you are the day after me at the Riviera! Isn't it awesome there! It is going to look so amazing for Christmas.
