It was great. I got so much unpacking done on Saturday. I am sure I will rearrange things a few times, but at least I can see the floors again and not just a big wall of boxes. Have you heard anything on your house yet?

Im glad you had a productive weekend!! Your house is beautiful!! i love the front window!!!
I put the bid in and it was accepted, (the second bid) We told the attorney today to draw up the contract.. (i dont know how long that takes..) we have an expected closing time of 06/05....VERY stressfull but exciting too!!!

If I remember the contract does not take long at all. Just don't forget to have an engineer do an inspection on the house. It really is a stressful time, but it is so worth it in the end.

They are on the expensive side, but so worth it. When we were looking in Selden, we put a bid on a house and when the engineer came, he found it needed a full new roof. We actually offered to split the cost with the owners, but they would not budge on the price so we dropped the house all together. Also, remember if they find something that isn't too little, speak to your lawyer and see if you can bargain down the price.
