A colleague of mine got engaged and was entertaining the thought of a december wedding but wasn't sure if it's a good time for pictures because of the time change. I suggested she do an afternoon wedding to save money and get the best pictures since she will be getting married in a church and then has to ride to the RH and she was concerned about it being too dark before cocktail hr. She wants lots of outdoor pics is temperature permits.
Any december brides? Please voice your opinion.

Re: December Brides.....
I'm a December Bride!
FH and I choose December because we both love the season (we live in Florida so it is such a nice change in NY during the winter..) We are having a evening wedding but will be seeing each other before to take advantage of the day light for pictures. I am really, really hoping for snow! I it would look really beautiful in the pictures.

Re: December Brides.....
I'm getting married in 11 days (EEP), and it will be pitch black by time ceremony is over...but I'm OK with that. We have gorgeous beach e-pics, so at least we got our sun in there...but I'm really looking forward to the pics just after the ceremony, as the sun is going down and it's dusky, I think it will make for some really pretty shots. The RH has beautiful indoor grounds for pics, so I'm not too concerned about that either, and we can take some cool night shots on the grounds too if we want. Yeah, it'll be different...but for us it wasn't a deal breaker.

Re: December Brides.....
I agree. December could be mild so I just told her you can't plan the weather if it should snow but the pics will be gorgeous.
