December wedding

Hey girls,

Are there any gals planning to get married in Dec 2007. I'm planning on Flowerfield and i'm excited that it will be decorated beautifully for the holidays. However i'm concerned about pictures. I really wanted pictures outdoors, do you think the first week in December is too cold to take outdoor pictures? If anyone else is planning on a December wedding, where are you taking your pictures?

Re: December wedding

I'm not December - I'm Feb however I still plan on taking some outside pictures. Even if it is cold I still want them and a light dusting of snow would make me really happy. I almost went with December because of the decorations though so I say awesome choice!
I am going to look into a nice decently priced shrug or something to go back and forth from the outside.

Thanks. Do you think the BM's will mind freezing outside to take pics? I guess maybe I should have them wear wraps.

My sister MattandTricia07 is having a Dec 29, 2007 wedding.... she will probably take pictures at church after the mass and at East Wind where she is getting married I think since it will be decorated!!

ETA: Took outside pics when I was in a late November wedding once---we were FREEZING but the pics got taken!

I am getting married in Feb 07. I already warned the BM's that I wanted to take some outside pictures. We know its probably gonna be freezing but as long as we get some good pictures we will be happy.

Yay another December bride! I'm getting married 12/29/07 and lately I've been wondering how the weather will go since we don't have the warmth and sunshine. I'm going to take pictures at my church and hopefully when I book my photographer they can suggest a fun holiday place as well. Then of course, I'll take some at East Wind

I'm looking forward to taking pictures with all of the holiday decorations up as well!!!

Any idea on what you or you or your BMs will wear to keep warm. I really didn't want to spend extra money on fancy fur wraps.

I'm thinking of some sort of wrap/jacket, but I haven't really looked into what to get yet. Let me know if you find anything that's not too much $$. So happy to have another December 07 bride!!!

I'm not having a december wedding but If I were I would do outdoor pictures. Just have someone hold your coat while your taking pictures and put it on in between shoots. I love those long white coats that brides wear with their gowns in the winter. I 'm not sure what they are called but they remind me of cinderella!

My cousin had a December wedding there a couple of years ago and it was FABULOUS! You're going to have an amazing time. I think that is was cold out but she still did manage to take pictures outside. I would still do it and get them done first so you can take the rest inside and I gotta tell you that the inside pictures were beautiful too! Especially in front of the fireplace! CONGRATS!!
