December/January Brides

Did you (or are going going to) go on a honeymoon right after your wedding? And if so, where did you go (or what are you doing)?

We are going right after the wedding. We are staying in states for the honeymoon b/c [1] we didn't know what the weather would be like and [2] we didn't know what our jobs would be like since I just graduated grad school a year ago. We're going to Los Angeles and going on (what we are calling) a 'Food Network/Top Chef Tour' to see some restaurants we've been watching on TV for years! We are also going to do the reg. sightseeing and relaxing :).

Next year, we are hoping to do something bigger when money is more stable--Thailand is at the top of our list :).

We are leaving the day after for Cabo San lucas. Hope the weather is nice there and here (for takeoff!) :)

oopsy im sorry i didnt realize this was for december/jan brides... if i was one i would totally go to australia or south america

great question! we are trying to decide this as well. we are looking to leave a couple of weeks later and either honeymoon over christmas or over new years... NOT sure where yet. toying with the idea of a cruise maybe but alot of cruises don't run in those months. we want something relaxing with some touristy stuff mixed in.

We are going right after so we'll be away fro christmas! We are thinking St. Lucia so it will be warm!

We are going to San Juan for a minimoon next Thursday-Sunday (a week and a half after the wedding), and then we are going to Greece for our main HM in August when the weather is better.

We are leaving two days after, we are going to Punta Cana, anywhere warm is good for me, I need away from the cold

We wont be going away until much later in the year. I will be in school and dont want to take the time off. We might do a minimoon, maybe a weekend. If I wasnt in school we would leave a few days after the wedding. When its cold here I would to go somewhere warm

we are going two days after to bora bora and moorea for 2 weeks, will be away for christmas

We are going on a cruise to Hawaii in February, followed by 3 days in San Francisco and 3 days in Vegas.

originally planned on going to South Africa and Mauritius until I realized it's cyclone season in Mauritius in January

it's also rainy season in Fiji

we finally decided on Maldives and Dubai and leaving two days after the wedding
