Meeting my cousin from san diego. Looking for a cute spot closer to Penn if not he is staying over by 7th and 53rd street. Any suggestions :)

If you like Chinese food, you will love Chef Yu. It's about 2 minutes walking distance from Penn. It's delicious and inexpensive!

Not by Penn, but near where your cousin is staying, there is a place on 55th and 6th called Le Bonne Soup. Cute and delish.

Stout is a fun place..
Also Lucy's or is it Lucky's I forget but its mexican.. big bar scene but has a few tables.. great tacos!

I'm sorry!! But it was really good and you can usually get discounts/ free stuff/ specials if you sign onto their website/facebook

'Merchant's Chelsea' is a few blocks from Penn. It's on Seventh Avenue between 16th and 17th. Great lounge feel...great cocktails...great food! Try the nachos and the Pom-Appletini. Mmm!
