Decided on my veil

I was asking everyone's opinion on cathedral vs. fingertip length veils a few days ago. I want to thank everyone for their advice. I went to Macy's today and tried on my dress with some veils. I was torn on which length I wanted. But I decided to go with a 2 tier fingertip length veil.

I am not planning on wearing it for the whole night but I at least wanted to wear it when we were introduced into the reception for the first time. So being that I plan on bustling my dress before we walk in, I went with the shorter veil. I've been to weddings where the bride walked in with her train and held it over her arm while they danced their first dance. In my opinion, I think it looks sloppy when you see the slip under her dress. So I went with the shorter veil.

Have you considered a detachable cathedral? That you can use for the ceremony and the remove for later?

But that sounds like a good compromise. I love the look of fingertip length veils!
