We went to see the Watermill tonight, and although it was really nice and the guy we met with was soooooo nice and helpful, the price is a bit much for us to spend just to have more 'grounds'. The Chateau Briand is awesome and I know our wedding will be great there! Everyone raves about their reputation and food and service, so I'm not worried about that...We'll just have to take pics at the Westbury Garden in order to get the whole 'garden' thing...

I agree, if it was just a matter of the grounds then you should save the money and use it for more splurges elsewhere. I could see if it was something inside or food or something that you wanted different but I think you made the right decision ( even though I'm biased towards Watermill )

i think you made a great choice. although chateau wasnt my first choice and i couldnt get my date at my place of choice i dont regret my choice to go with chateau one bit. they do an amazing job and im still getting raves

You do have to pay for Westbury Gardens...book it now before they raise their prices.
I'm going to a wedding at Chateau Briand on Friday night- can't wait!!!! It's going to be so much fun!!!!!!!

I am getting married at CB 6/12/04. We are getting married in the Garden - there may not be grass like W. Gardens, but you can still get some pretty pictures outside by the gazebo and waterfall!

what I liked about CB is that its something different - theres plently of places inside to take some beautiful pictures. And theres the waterfall outside of course.

My wedding just past at CB 3/5! It was wonderful. For all the details and things I had them do... they pulled it off fairly well. The food was amazing.... for what I had to eat but I heard great things about the food overall!!

U'll enjoy it....my sister had her wedding at Cheateau Briand....everything was excellent! I would do my wedding there too, but I didn't want the same wedding as hers (since we'd have the same guest list and all)....great place!
