Re: Decorating Church
I wasn't going to since my ceremony is about 20 minutes and at the RH, but I made pew bows for the first few rows of chairs and may have rose petals scattered down the aisle.

Re: Decorating Church
I'm not doing anything. My church is pretty enough :toot: :toot: lol I just didn't want to spend the money on it since we'll only be there for 30 minutes.

Re: Decorating Church
My church actually requested that we DON'T decorate the church. They said it wasn't necessary and they didn't want to clean it up. But I might buy or ATTEMPT to DIY a few pew bows for the first few rows and my FG has already told me shes doing petals down the aisle.

I'm not doing anything. They decorate the church for Christmas. (I'm double checking on when they actually decorate) but if I do anything I may make lil wreaths for the pews

Re: Decorating Church
aisle runner, rose petals, and pew bows...that's how far I would go. I can't stand the idea of paying anymore money to decorate the church knowing I am using the church for aboout 45 min. The church is beautiful as is anyways.

Re: Decorating Church
we are getting married at the RH so i def want to jazz it up a little......i want it to have a very romantic feel....dim lighting, lots of candles - maybe a candle light aisle somehow....def need an aisle runner with rose petals and maybe two arrangements up front? i dont know, i have to see how much it will cost.....for the reception we are doing the cheapest most bang for your buck low centerpieces that we can find i could care less about flowers but i want to have a sexy ceremony

Re: Decorating Church
i am having my florist make a piece for the church that can be easily moved. then he is going to take it from the church and set it up at the RH after the ceremony. 2 uses for 1 piece!

yeah i was thinking of asking them to put the 2 altar arrangements at my rh after the ceremony. I figured i can use them by the door to my room at the RH or actually right by the door inside the room. This way at least ill get more use out of it.
