Decorating shoes

I bought myself a pair of white dyeable shoes and I want to make it look sparkly. In the middle I want to put a big jeweled piece and I wondered if you ladies know any websites that I could buy from. Also what kind of glue should I use on my shoes? Thanks in advance.

Tackyglue should work great on dyable shoes. It's in the gold bottle, and you can find it at Walmart or Michale's.

Also, google shoe clips. that'll come up with big bling that's already put together and will be easy to clip on the shoe.

If that's not in your budget check out the jewelry making section at Michale's. you may find something that was meant for a necklace that would look great on shoes.... but if it's too heavy you will probably have to sew it on, b/c glue might not hold the weight.

show us when you finish!!!

I'm actually still in the process of decorating my shoes. I used Swarovski hotfix crystals. They come preglued and you use a little heating tool to stick them on. It's really easy. Got it at Michaels but to get it all cheaper try dreamtimecreations.com

Re: Decorating shoes

Thanks for the help it really put me on track. I found two decorations that I can't decide on.The first picture is my actual shoe. The three straps on the front are connected in the middle. (Reason why my heel is so low is because I am really tall and don't want to tower over FH lol)

I was thinking of using the heart and I have a picture that shows it on a shoe similar to mine. Or I can have the rhinestones go across the straps. Another option I was thinking was use the heart and still use the rhinestones on the space left over. That might be overkill though. What do you girls think? Also I am planning on dying my shoes purple.
