First of all, who provides the white runner? When is that put down - before the entire bridal party or just before the flower girl? Who puts it down? How are you decorating your pews? Are you putting up anything else in church? Is anyone using an arch at the rear of the church? Please give as many details as possible. It is great to hear what all of you are doing.

Re: Decorating the church
Yout limo company should provide the runner - I think it is put down after any mothers, grandmothers are seated (right before the BP walks down th aisle). As far as decorating, you can do it yourself, or your florist can do it...mine is putting the pew bows and the altar arrangements (2 of them) for $250. They sell pew bows, etc. on Ebay for pretty cheap too...or Michaels is good!

Re: Decorating the church
Hey newatthis.... did you book the church yet? Many times when you go for the meeting with your priest, they will give you the 'rules' and an idea of who does what & when!

Re: Decorating the church
you should check to see if you can even use a runner - I know my church does not allow us to use one - and from what I have read here a lot of churches have strict rules as to runners, petals, etc.
You usually get it from your limo company!

Re: Decorating the church
check to see if your limo co. will be providing a runner. If not you can get one from your florist and they will put it down. But like it was already mentioned, first check with your church. As far as pew bows, I would like to put one pew bow everyother pew. I'm getting married in a pretty big church so thats alot! I'm not so sure about altar arrangements yet but they always look beautiful. If you use them, try to match your reception flowers incase your going to put them behind your dais...if your having one. Good Luck!
