what are you ladies putting on the pew by the isles? Typical bow or something else?

Florist is doing bows on the first five rows of the pew only. Just a tulle bow – nothing fancy. And we’re doing two altar pieces.
Also, doing tulle on the staircase outside the church – through the florist as well.

we did those really tall vases with water, orchids and willow branches, and floating candles

No, in fact I think it's a great idea! I didn't put anything in the church, we just had aisle candles.

nothing... our church doesn't really need anything and we're the first wedding of the day (or second) and any decorations (flowers) you bring are considered a donation to the church, I don't want to spend the extra money and have them throw it out because the next bride got something else.
i'm actually going to do a spin off to this on the 2010 board... i meant to ask it before, but never got around to it.
I think we're just gonna do the typical pew bows and then 2 altar pieces. I figure since it's a Friday wedding many people prob won't come so I don't wanna spend too much money decorating the church.
