Hi - Im still here. I have a songram tonight because a week and a half ago the girl measured the babies muscles to be 36 weeks, but I am 39 weeks. How are you feeling?

Nothing. Yesterday I had chinese food - heard that can bring on labor, but nothing. I am officially home from work, and my husband won't let me go very far from the house just in case. He's too cute.
Anyone else know what I can do to bring on labor?

Dee, I've tried eggplant, chinese, spicy food, walking, cleaning......everything short of 'the deed' b/c hubby is afraid of hurting the baby
Men........ya know, in this state its the least he could do - step up to the plate honey - you got me into this and you're gonna help get me out of it LMAO!!!!!
Other than just really anxious I'm feeling ok - my glider came today so the baby's room is officially done. I have a doc's appt. tomorrow afternoon. Hoping for some good news!!!

Lori - what hospital are you delivering at? I am going to Winthrup.
I can't believe that our due dates are in less than a week. I pray that I do not go past my due date.
I went to the doctor yesterday and they did the same routine work.

I'm delivering at St. Catherine's in Smithtown.
Went to the doc today - only 1 centimeter dilated and my cervix is still pretty thick. Looks like I'll be around for a bit longer!!!!

I don't go back to the doctor until Monday and I hope I am somewhat dialated. Last week I wasn't dialated at all. I really cannot take this waiting game much longer.

He keeps saying that 'the deed' will help me along and wrote DH a prescription to 'step up to the plate and get to work'

That is too funny. My doctor said not to 'put anything in the area'.
I think there is a full moon tonight or tomorrow night, so I hope that helps us along.

Ohhhhh, new moon......I'm grasping at anything over here LOL.
I hope to go soon b/c if my mom or grandmother calls me ONE MORE TIME I may flip out. They're getting annoyed that baby girl is comfy in mommy's belly............
