Re: def NWR - Sprint
it depends on where you are. I have had them for years and never used to have any problems but recently the service with their new phones has not been great and it really pisses me off.

I had it way back when sprint took over nextel and it was horrible. Not as bad as t-mobile though.

I hated them. They were like vampires, I was really young when I had them and used to forget to pay the bills, you know like when you mailed them a check or paid in the store, so they would shut my phone off. I'm not talking a month late, more like 2 days late!

Re: def NWR - Sprint
ok going back like 8 years ago... I had sprint, after three months they BROKE contract, they started charging me over my minutes and said to me that 'at 3 months into your 12 month contract your minutes go from 6000 to 600' and texts went from 1000 to 500. this was back before the whole 'umlimited' thing...
I read and re-read my contract.. and I mean with a magnifying glass to see ALL the fine print... it did NOT say that... and ps- my then BF sold me the phone and contract, he wouldn't have scr ewed me. well they told me it was a new policy... so yea, I didn't pay, they sent me to collections... I ended up sending the collection agency a copy of the contract, they dropped the collection and turned on sprint. but this went on for YEARS. I finally get everything corrected. I ended up getting nextel for 2 years... well during those two years sprint bought out nextel.. by the time they took over my contract was over and I was simply pay per month.. yea, sprint decided to cut my minutes and charge me for 2-way. so I canceled them.. they tried to charge me a termination fee... that didn't go over too well. so I pretty much HATE sprint.

omg.....thats horrible!!! alright, now u scared the crap outta me!!! we'll prob stay with who we have now. its just that they're doin that 'unlimited everything' deal that's so tempting.....i had sprint a long time ago, like 8 years, and i dont remember them being horrible. but i dont remember anything about how the service was.....urgh i'm just tryin to save fh and i some $$$!!!

Re: def NWR - Sprint
I live in Queens and switched from Verizon to Sprint in Feb... I have BB Tour... and I've had nothing but issues with dropped calls, slow data, no GPS... I called the other day and my phone was never provisioned correctly... I never knew, I just thought it was crappy service... and they don't want to do anything to compensate me for the services I haven't been able to use since March
I am saving about $30 a month vs what I would pay on Verizon for the same stuff... but is it worth it if the services don't work???
I had Sprint years ago... I was hesitant to switch back but FH talked me into it and I'm sorry he did I never had airtime or data problems with Verizon and their customer service is so much better... and so are their discounts on new handsets... no waiting for months for rebates (I still don't have mine!)
I guess, moral of the story... you get what you pay for.

Re: def NWR - Sprint
I switiching from Sprint as soon as my daughter's contract is up at the end of this month.
When I stopped the internet on her phone they charged me for 3 months of service..granted when I called they took the charge off but why do I need to do that..do your job
When I moved it took over 5 months for them to enter my correct address
Plus they charge way to many fees..going to try Metro PCS

Re: def NWR - Sprint
I have the blackberry with sprint and love it. I've been with them for about 8 years. The only problem I've had was with this phone when I broke they charger port, but they replaced it for free. I've never had dropped calls, the only time they shut the phone off is if you're over a month late. Their family data share plan is definately worth it. And the fact that you can do most of your own account changes online is great. I like having that over my account.
I've had att and they were terrible and I've had Tmobile and that was even worse.
