Defining the Bridal Party

Defining the Bridal Party

Does this sound funny at all:

'Bride's Best Man' - My Brother
'Bride's Matron of Honor' - My Cousin (Like My Sister)
They will stand by my side at church.

'Groom's Best Man' - His Brother
'Groom's Matron of Honor' - His Sister
And they will stand by his side at church.

Does it sound silly to have 2 of each?

I don't think there is anything wrong with having 2 best men and 2 MOH's, although I'm not sure if I would specify 'Groom's BM, Bride's BM, etc..'

I'm not really sure ......

How about?

Brides Atendees:
Burt AmyT
Mary AmyT

Grooms Atendees :
Jack MrAmyT
Ann MrAmyT

It's not very formal but I think it is less confusing. Either way tell me what you decide I am most likely having a mixed bridal party as well.

I don't see anything wrong with it - I like what you've done. (We're having two best men - FHs 2 brothers.)

Nothing wrong with being different...

Re: Defining the Bridal Party

My Brother is going to be my 'Man of Honor' and my cousin is going to be my maid of honor . . .

Another option:

Best Man
John doe..........Bride's Brother
Jack Smith.......Groom's Brother

Matron of Honor
Sarah Lewis.......Bride's Sister
Kim Tyler..........Groom's Sister

Re: Defining the Bridal Party

we mixed his sister with mine, so it was fitting to put them all together and then state who they are to us.
