Elementary Education and Special Education. You will have a much, much better shot getting a job if you are special ed. certified.

Re: degree?
my undergrad degree is in psychology and I'm currently earning my masters degree in forensic psychology. It's not guaranteed a job but if you have enough of a drive to find work then you'll definitely find something, it's a very broad degree, there is a lot you can do with it. good luck with whatever you choose.

Re: degree?
I'm getting a degree in nursing. I'm already garaunteed a job upon graduation. Many nurses work two jobs! With the shortage is amazing what you get. I think my hospital is giving a 7K sign on bonus!

Re: degree?
yup there is always an extremely high demand for accounting! It's not for me because math and I are not friends but if you can do it then that is definitely a field where you are guaranteed a job.

I have a bachelor in nursing. With nursing you will have no problem finding a job. You can still do teaching if you go for your masters and become a clinical instructor. It seems though judging from past posts on these boards that it has become very hard to get into a nursing program now a days but don't let that discourage you if you see nursing as an option.
