Is anyone NOT going on their HM right away? Or do you know anyone who has waited and gone a month or two later? I think we might wait b/c of work but I don't know if the 'high' will be over and it will just be like another vacation. Ideas?

Re: Delayed honeymoon
I think it will still be just as good! And you will have time to look forward to just your honeymoon and not both the honeymoon and wedding at the same time.

Re: Delayed honeymoon
I had two friends wait 1-2 months because they are both teachers.

Re: Delayed honeymoon
We're getting married in May and going on the HM in August b/c I'm a teacher and can't take time off in May. I'm really excited about it. yes, it will be a bummer to go back to school, but I have an amazing trip to look forward to, and I'm not stressed at all about planning for it b/c I have time.

My brother got married in November and they haven't gone on their HM yet because of their jobs (both teachers).

Re: Delayed honeymoon
I definitley don't see anything wrong with doing that but I also think you should do a little something special that weekend then. Even if it's just going to the city for a few days.

We are doing a mini honeymoon 2 days after the wedding and then doing a 10 day cruise about 6 to 8 month safter the wedding
