For the eyes, try Opcon-A or another allergy drop. I have terrible eye allergies and that stuff usually does the trick. Also, for your skin try cortisone - that will help with the inflammation and itchiness. I worked in a pharmacy for nearly 10 years and this is what we'd usually suggest. Don't put too much antihistamine in your body... Good luck and feel better!!

I realize it's too late now, but just in case someone does a search on this later or something:
DON'T take benadryl when you already have 24-hour Claritin in your system. You can't mix antihistamines like that. Not good.
And for next time you go to that house, you realize that the cat doesn't actually have to touch you to have an allergic response, right? There will be cat hair all over the sofa where you were sitting, all over the floor. Heck, my friends with cats let them walk on the kitchen counters and then serve me food from there. Cats go everywhere and their fur gets on everything. The only solution is to take claritin BEFORE you step foot into that house. Like, hours before, so the antihistamines really build up in your blood. I hate Claritin-D because the 'D' (sudafed) gives me bad side effects (heart racing, jumpiness, dizziness). I take regular Claritin (the tiny white pills) about 300 days a year b/c of my terrible allergies, and have no side effects at all from them.

Try and take a bath in Aveeno Oatmeal Bath. It really helps and is relaxing!
