Any experience telling someone they are NOT in your BP? Most people just choose their BP and those who aren't chosen figure out they aren't in it. But what if you know a certain someone who you really aren't friends with anymore, who has a pushy & spiteful attitude and thinks they are going to be in it? I don't really talk to this person anymore but suddenly they have come out of the woodwork, volunteering wedding help, but I know that they have ulterior motives. What do you do? I need them to find out they aren't in the BP before our e-party and shower, but the thought of telling them myself gives me anxiety!!!

how do you know she has ulterior motives?

Because the person hates all my friends and pretty much told them all and me a few months ago at a get-together. Now suddenly is nice to everyone. All of this changed when I got engaged and started planning with my close friends.

well aside from coming right out and telling her, maybe make a wedding website, and on it list the bridal party, and when you're done email it to a bunch of people at once, including her. Then maybe she'll get the hint? I

Unless she starts saying things like 'When are we buying bridesmaid dresses?' or just flat out says, 'Am I in the wedding?' I would take her offers at face value. Some people just really like weddings and maybe she is just excited to help you. Even if she is fishing, she should get the point eventually. Telling her she isn't in the wedding party without her specifically asking is a recipe for confrontation.
