I'm not sure I fully understood your story but I can tell you what we're doing. I have 8 nieces and nephews and FH has 1 niece. We are having his sole niece and the youngest nephew and youngest niece on my side as the FGs and RBs. It worked out best for us to do youngest because my side ranges from almost 14 to 7. If yours go the opposite way, do the oldest.

I am actually in the same situation where FH's SIL is prego & having a baby July...She is in my BP...We are having my cousin as a FG & that is all...Even with the new baby & it being our niece or nephew, it is just not happening when they are only 8 months old

but now his sister is having another baby so we decided to just have one from my side and one from his side because then it would be too many kids and i dont want all kids in my bp
his sister and bil were supposed to be in it also but now she said no because the bab y will be 8 months by then and she would not be able to be in it and take care of the baby at the same time you know.. which i understand
with her not being in it shortens me a girl so now he is going to tell his bil no because of the whole thing ..

we have too much in common right now lol
we are getting married the same year , same month and both fsil are prego lol
