if your FH's family is religious, I would have to say no to having it on either of those days.
My FH's family is not even that religious and they made comments about me getting married on a Sunday (not even any holiday)

Re: Wedding Date????
I am Jewish, and I wouldn't plan my own wedding on those days out of respect for my guests that WOULD celebrate. (Though I can't get married on a Friday anyway) A friend of mine who was Catholic, wanted a September wedding last year but she waited until all of the high holidays were over so her Jewish friends could attend. I was very touched by that.

Re: Wedding Date????
I'd say neither. But if I HAD to pick one of those two, I'd pick Good Friday.

I don't think it's the best idea. But you and your FI need to discuss it with your families.

Re: Wedding Date????
i would say neither- however, if his parents are religious than they would probably disagree with celebrating on good friday since that day is meant for fasting and NOT celebrating, SO I would say easter sunday- but really i would try to not do either
