I am in the same situation but with my FSIL she has always got everything handed to her. She was in college for 6 years continously which is fine but she transfered into 3 schools to follow boyfriends and lost credits but her dad still paid and she did not work. She got her first job at 24 years old and wait she was there for 2 months and got fired and now has another job but is broke and always hits FH up for money. Her uncles, dad, mom always give her money but never give FH anything!

I think every family has the spoil rotten child in it!!!

I would say something to your sister about it though!!!!

I have the same with my younger brother.. he had a kid with his baby momma ( ) and they are living with my parents for free in the completely new refinished basement that I HELPED PAINT!!! that was my room until i got kicked out and now have to sleep in the loft everytime we visit! and doesnt pay rent- or food- or car payment- and she the baby momma lives there with her fat hanging out and her nasty pancake boobies

so you and a lot of aother girls are DEF in the same boat... just think that you in the end are the more mature one and are the one getting married-- NOT HER!

aw im sorry to hear that. are you the oldest? because im the oldest and my brother gets treated the same way, ive been working since i was 15, and my brother just got his first part time job 2 months ago, and has already quit. hes going to be 19 in 3 months mind you. he goes out and parties every night and my parents pay for EVERYTHING for him. dont get me wrong, im pretty spoiled.. but my parents have never encouraged me to sit around and do nothing, but yet they cater to my brother and encourage him to do nothing at all.

My sister was the princess too....I started working at 15, she didn't work until she graduated from college (and we must have the same sister because she didn't like it and quit after 2 or 3 months).

Everything was always handed to her on a silver platter. She lived at home till she got married, my mother did her laundry, made her bed and had dinner waiting for her when she got home.

Meanwhile, I worked since I was 15 and lived on my own since I was 22.

It's soooooooooooooooo frustrating!!!

I have something kinda similar with FSIL. FH's older sister who is 27 has been to three colleges and accrued 30k in student loans [that's with interest] and guess what ... Ready .... SHE NEVER GRADUATED. She lived off of her mother [FMIL], can't keep a job and is completely irrisponsible. But because there is always someone there to take care of her she doesn't have to work. IT KILLS ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention FH is the co-signer on her student loans that she deffers every chance she gets

And she suffers from COMPLETE middle child syndrome and plays the victim oh so well.

Ahhhhh sorry for the rant but I had to jump in [even though I am not sure what the initial issue was]
