Re: NWR....murder mystery
We did that for my 8th birthday!!
For us, there were about 10 girls and 3 adults. Everyone got to dress up however they wanted and when we were set everyone got a card on it with a role. Things like 'You are Mr. so and so' 'You are Mr. So and So's wife' 'You are Mr. I get murdered.' Someone was also the police detective and someone was the killer. It was set up so that there were clues pointing to who the person was and everyone got to act their character and at the end of the night we tried to guess the killer.

Re: NWR....murder mystery
PS. I just remembered, to act we obviously had to set up a story line. It was very Charlie Chan-esque where we were all at a dinner party and the dead person was poisoned. Then the detective arrived and we all either had to act guilty or not. Potential motive and other simple background info was also explained on everyone's character card too. We wanted to give the girls something to work with, but still leave room for lots of improv.

Thats exactly what we did too...we did a 1920's theme one. Well, my friend Lisa's Parents did it and everyone was either a flapper type or a mobster.. so fun!

Re: NWR....murder mystery
I did one for my job's holiday party. I used a company that brought in actors. I supplied them with info on a bunch of employees, pictures, business cards, etc. and they wrote a script for it (and songs/dances) it was great! I highly recommend them. If you wnat the info FM me.
