Aww, I think maybe it's hitting her that you're not her little girl anymore. My mom pulled the same stuff and INSISTED that I sleep over and get ready at her house. I'm really glad I did and we needed the mother/daughter time. IMO i'd tell your BM's to meet you at hte house the morning of and just have your mom sleep over. I think it would mean a lot to her.

Your not alone - my father is beyond crazy and he stinks. And poor FH, his father is that latest crazy.

aww---that sux that your mom got so heated over it.
maybe she's upset that you're not staying over with her and your dad and she's just trying to pick a fight? you shouldn't have to deal with that kind of stress---maybe you should call her and talk to her and see what she says and explain more in detail about the hair & MU people.
sorry you're dealing with this!!

You have a twin brother right? Here's where I would ask him to step in and 'handle' the parents... that's what my FH's twin sister is around for (and of course because she's awesome! LOL.... ).
Don't feel bad... I'm sure your mom is just stressed about the wedding being so close and there being plans that still need finalizing. Deep breath!

I agree this would be the best solution

You're very lucky that Brian's parents are so awesome to you... it doesn't make up for how your mom is, but I'm sure it helps. And at least you have your brother to commisserate with about how crazy your parents are... it helps!!
For now, as hard as it is, I would just roll with it. Let it work itself out and try to enjoy these last few days. From the way it sounds, your dad has the sense to not allow your mom to ruin your day.

I have to agree. It's her last night with her little girl before she becomes a married woman. She may have some great advice she can give you, and you can make it a nice night of bonding. You can have your girls meet you in the morning oce you are well rested, and you can all get ready together. I only suggest it because you only get one mom, and you never know how long you will have her.

I am so sorry you are going through this... I have a mother who would do the same exact thing. I understand your situation...

its not the little girl thing...i havent lived home in over 5years (and was away at college for 4yrs before that) so its been like 9yrs since ive lived at home, so i havent slept over with my mom in forever...we arent getting ready at their house (we are getting ready at my aunts house) and she never even suggested me to sleep over...my dad just thinks that since i mentioned my friends sleeping over that i should ask her just to be nice
