You need to do what's right for you. I wanted to get married in 2010; however, we need to save money to pay for the wedding and I'm finishing my masters this May. That's why our wedding is going to be in 2011. I hope everything works out well for you at Westbury Manor. I love the whole feel of the place, especially the peacocks on the grounds.

When FH and I were out of work we looked into moving our date. WM worked with us. It was going to be a little more per person (I think 5 dollars). In the end we decided not to change it but they were very helpful. HTH

i say if it will help you and FH then do it. I have over a 2 year engagement (got engaged in 2008) because FH needed the time to save up for our wedding.. it definitely helps to have a wedding savings account that we have slowly built up over time to pay for vendors, etc.

My #1 Rule: Do what will make YOU and FH happy...If that means changing the date so things will work out better...then go ahead. Everything will be GREAT in the end...

Thats why i chose 2012...With the economy now a days and us having to pay for the wedding on our own-along with mortgage. We just couldnt see it happening in 2011. I would like it to be,but its just not possible.

You have to make the decision fast and quick because 2011 is around the corner..lol

You already know my opinion on this Halo. We spoke about it before. But just to refresh, I honestly think if that is what will make you & FH happy and it will make things a little easier, then definetly do it!

Well with anything you have to weigh the pros and cons and make the best decision for yourself.

For me, I'm so impatient. We've been together long enough, I can't wait to get married! But money is tight and we're doing the best we can to make this wedding happen in 2010!
