Hey Cindy

Sorry to hear about your family. I'm hurt to by this! My brother in-law family is from Haiti, close friends and my cousins... Its terrible.. I lost sleep over this last night and cried on my way to work this morning...This can happen anywhere...No room for cultural barrier right now!

I'm donating clothes this weekend from me and my husband also the baby. I've already donated money to the yele.org foundation (Wyclef Jean) last nite....

I hope word is heard soon...........

FH just heard from his family. They are ok but they are homeless. All we could say was thank you Jesus. We still dont know about his aunts and grandmothers homes. they live here but still have beautiful homes there

Still no word.. I cant even go to work today... My grandma was very weak - i dont know if she could handle something like this.. i keep praying but im beyond scared and my heart is too heavy....

FH is an 1hr away from my family... i hear through his brother 20min that he is okay..

I am so sorry to hear about your uncles but i am very glad your FH is safe in DR. I'm sure it was hard for him to leave her but i am sure it would have been just as hard for her to leave her country.

Hopefully the government will ease up on his immigration laws temporarily so that families can be reunited even if its temporary.

I'm SO SORRY to hear about the loss of your Uncles-this is such terrible news...My prayers go out to your family during this hard time

I'm glad that your FH is ok. I can't even imagine what this tragedy has been like for you. I will pray for you and all the people in Haiti.
