The outside location and scenery on the sound is just so awesome- that would be the deciding factor for me since everything else is probably pretty similar :)

Lombardi's on the Sound is absolutly georgous. But I heard they are really strict about their menus. Also They are a lill hidden and more hard to get to then Villa Lombardis.

Well we are getting married in November and we are planning on getting married at the church. I love them both just can't figure out which one i love more. They both have amazing food and the view at the sound beats any view I have seen. Villa Lombardis has the wow factor as you pull up and also inside but doesn't have any outside view from the room.
Ahhhh I get what you are saying now! Personally, the view from the room is more important to me than the wow factor when driving up! Go with your gut!

Im pretty sure that that you cant see the view from inside the reception room at LOTS. Im pretty sure it is only visable during CH which is only an hour long . Also, Im not sure how many people you are having, but I went to a wedding there and the room seemed kind of cramped. and I think she had about 150 people.
Im definitley biased because I got married at Villa but I think the room at Villa is way more beautiful then the room at LOTS.
Either way you cant go wrong! The food and service is amazing at both!!

Well I went to a wedding at Villa Lombardi's on Valentine's Day and the food was fabulous!!!!! The ambiance and the grounds are so beautiful. Lombardi's on the Sound is somewhat hidden. It's much easier to get to Villa Lombardi's.

The food & menu is the same at all Lombardi's places so it really comes down to what ambiance you prefer. I had my senior prom & other sports events at Villas so I wanted something diff for my wedding. A RH on the water was a non-negotiable for us so when we went to The Sound and saw the view and the ceremony site, we just fell in love. I love that we have the whole deck to ourselves, not just for CH but for the entire night. The suset in the harbor is amaaazing. Our wedding is in August so it was perfect for us. If you're getting married in November, it might be chilly and you might not get to enjoy the deck and outdoor area...so that is something to consider.

I've been to both. The food is going to be excellent at either one.
Yes the views at LOTS are beautiful but you can only see them during CH. I believe the windows are like etched all around the RH room so you can't see in or out of them. Since you are having a November wedding it will probably be too cold to use the deck for CH as well.
I would say Villas bc of your time of year you can have the CH in the glass atrium which is so beautiful when it's all lit up at night.

I heard Lombardis on the Bay is really pretty too! This is their newest venue..not to make your decision even harder!!! I have been to villa lombardis but not lombardis on the sound..I probably would go for lombardis on the sound between the 2 eventhough I've never been there only bc of the water view.

I've been to a few events at both Lombardis. LOTS i wasn't happy with the service and that was at two events. However, the food is fantastic. I think it all depends on what type of decor you are going for.

My mom went to a fabulous wedding at Villa Lombardis. I haven't been there myself, but she raved about it.
I've been to Lombardis on the Sound and it's a very secluded location and hard to find in the dark!

I have never eaten at Villa Lombardi's, but the food at Lombardi's on the Sound is AMAZING. I was there twice and both times the food was out of this world. DELICIOUSSSSSSS!!
I'm going to Villa Lombardi's in May for a wedding- I'll let you know. I'm sure the food is great there too!

Jennifer you look very familiar. Are your from Lindenhurst? Well Lombardis on the Sound is prob not an option any longer bc we do not want a day wedding. We already have our date for 11/11/11 and they are booked at night so there goes that. I love your hall- Lands end is beautiful but since we are getting married in Nov we would need a place that is really nice inside.
No I'm from babylon but spent alot of time in Lindenhurst bc one of my friends (BM) is from there. I do have a cousin that lives in Lindy though that people say I look like! Anyway, sorry Lombardis on the Sound has your date booked already but what about Villa's new venue - Lombardis on the BAY?? It is in Patchogue but is def for a smaller wedding. I heard it is really pretty....

I go to LOTS frequently for brunch, and have been to a few showcases and events there. I personally do not care for it AS much. It's a completely different vibe, more..proper? I guess more country club-ish. I clearly opted for marble and bling lol. You can't see the view from the main ballroom, and the ballroom was a little cramped at the event we went to there. I also got major tude from the employees there when I was inquiring about my wedding, which further pushed me to Villa.
