awwww i'm sorry you're going through this. i'd be pissed too. your BMs should've gone above and beyond for you, especially since you did for them. maybe your FH is just messing with you. i hope he is. don't worry though chickie, i'm sure regardless of where it is you'll still have a great time and it'll be awesome.

Thank you and no he's not messing with me. He wanted to give me a heads up because he knows how emotional I get and wants me to practice my grateful face.
I'm hopefully just imagining the worst and hopefully they come through in the end. I just dont understand why they couldnt have gone the in someone's backyard route.

Unfortunately no. He didnt want to tell me anything in the first place but I overheard him talking on the phone and I wanted to know what was going on so he laid it on the line for me.
I am just trying to remind myself to be happy that I am having a shower.

I'm so sorry hun people can be so unbelievably inconsiderate. It makes you really realize that it's not worth going out of your way for certain people because they don't return the favor. Just take this as a learning experience and now you know how to treat them for future events.

I could not agree more. I am in a similar situation. It is very hurtful when you go above and beyond for people, and when it comes time for you they disappoint. My advice....it made me appreciate even more the ones that were there for me.

That is very unfortunate. I dont see why they couldnt give you what you asked for. It's not like you were demanding it be at a catering hall-- which could be pricey. I love backyard parties...so I asked for the same thing. I hope it turns out nice for you
