Hmm..tough call.
Maybe talk to him about it ONE more time, but then drop it.

I would say let him deal with them directly.

he is right that she was his past and u r his present and future, but u r all part of his life in one way or another. i dont think its a bad idea if u talk to her. it's better that u two talk and get along than be complete strangers. it's not as though u're gonna talk to her n be nasty or say bad things. u're tryin to be nice and have them come to the wedding since it is his child. Personally? I would let it go. I can se what both of you are saying and I think it's VERY nice that you want to make the effort to show you want them there. BUT, I think he might be scared that his ex and FW will become friends or friendly and that is probably THE LAST thing he wants. He has a past life that he values with his daughter but not with his ex and he's looking to having a future with you. If she would to turn around and say 'I don't think you're future wife would want us there' then I would say contact her (if he said ok). I would respect his wishes and move on.

I would say let it go. He seemed very certain and I am sure he has already stressed to them his desire for them to come.

I would honor FH's wishes and not invite her to the wedding. I think he's right - you are his future and seeing his ex at the wedding may be painful for him.

hummm, I don't know - if you feel like you need to talk to her then maybe talk to your fh one more time I'm not sure that I would push the issue
