Delicious 'toasted' pecans!!!

I just made this recipe today, and I LOVE THEM. It's from the Bride & Groom First and Forever Cookbook.

You can just snack on them, or put them on a salad (Mixed greens, crumbled blue cheese, and homemade balsamic vinegarette...another thread).

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tablespoon Unsalted Butter, Melted
1/2 Teaspoon Liquid Smoke
2 cups pecan halves
2 Teaspoons Onion Powder
2 Teaspoons Garlic Powder
1 Teaspoon Seasoning salt, such as Lawry's
1 Teaspoon Sugar
1/8 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Preheat Oven to 250 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

Combine the Worcestershire sauce, butter, and liquid smoke in a medium bowl. Add the pecans and stir to coat. In a small bowl, combine the onion powder, garlic powder, seasoning salt, sugar, and cayenne. Sprinkle half the spice mixture over the nuts and stir well. Add the remaining spice mixture and stir again.

Spread the nuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and bake until the nuts are dry and toasted, 30 to 40 minutes. Let cool completely before serving!!!
