Demetrios Bridal Salon at Smithhaven

I found a dress that I absolutely love there this weekend with my mom! Has anyone had any problems ordering or with alterations? I was also wondering how their prices were...

I ordered my dress there and they were great to me !

They catered to me and I feel the extra $$ was worth it

if you register at Macy's they will give you a discount on the dress!! Plus they will price match as well...

just from trying on dresses there I didnt have the best service...

I agree. My attendant was so great. She was very friendly and extremely helpful.

I ordered mine, my Mom's and the BM dresses there. They have a wonderful selection! They also sell Maggie's. Price wise-they're a bit high, but they price match... so shop around and then they'll do it for you. THey actaully knocked off almost $100 a BM dress because of price matching!

They dont do maggies anymore as far as I know..

But anyway I tried on a bunch of dresses there and really liked the service. My FSIL ordered her dress and all the BM dresses there and they had no problems either.

Ok thanks! I had great service there as well but hearing all these horror stories from other shops I figured I'd just check!

Hi,

I ordered my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses there. The service is ok..but they didnt call me to tell me my dress is in. You have to keep calling them. I ordered bridesmaid dresses in march and they are still not here yet..

I ordered my gown there and they lowered the price of my gown b/c I found it elswhere cheaper. The alterations are outrageous, though (over $400 for a dress that basically fit me!) A bit of advice - don't purchase your veil there. The 3 ladies who were helping me had no clue about the veils and headpieces that they had, nor could they make suggestions as to what would look good with my dress. Oh, and the seamstress is only in on Tues and Thurs, which I wish I had known before, as I live in the city.
