demetrios dresses

for thise of you who are wearing demetrios.
where did you get your dress if you didnt get it from macys?

also if its not from macys did you save money on your dress, and how much were alterations? i'm hoping to get the dress by end of this month.

I don't think I've seen them anywhere other then in Macy's. Have you tried their website to locate a retailer?

I got mine from Flowerama, but when I went to try it on after it came in they mentioned that they no longer carry demetrios so it was a good thing that I had ordered it early.

Alterations are capped at $150.

I got the dress from them at $350 less than what Macy's wanted. Several ladies on here have said that some Macy's match the price of other salons so you might try that.

Macy's alterations would have been too pricey for me because they charge per item altered and it would start to add up.

Paradise Bridal has demetrios, I tried on a few there.

Lilette's did not carry my dress in their store, but they said they would be able to order it for me. There was a moderate savings as compared to Macy's, about $100 if I remember correctly.

Just so you know, Macy's will work with you if you find a lower price, so don't completely rule them out. I don't know anything about alterations, though, b/c I'm using a separate seamstress for that.
