Where can I go to get a demetrios gown besides Macy's? Also can you negotiate prices on wedding gowns? Just curious...
you can definitely negotiate wedding gown prices. i got mine for $500 less than it was advertised everywhere else. i found the dress in a few other stores and then went to lestan`s in brooklyn. i didn`t like lestans, but they offered the dress to me for $500 less than anywhere else. so i took that price back to one of the stores i liked and they matched the price for me! it definitely pays to shop around a little! good luck!
Bridal Suite in Centereach (NOT PATCHOGUE, which has a terrible rep and is not owned by the same people) sells the gowns. They got me mine and they didn't even have the sample. I tried it on at Macy's but hated the service. Ask for Debbie, she was a huge help and very knowledgeable. I negioated my gown price and my headpiece price too. You definately can do that! Which gown are you looking at?
I am looking at a strapless satin gown. I dont know the number, but it has a pearl trim on top, and a pearl trim on the bottom.

Try Burtons in Huntington (631-424-3377). They are a small shop but they're very nice and the cheapest I found when I was pricing my Demetrios gown. Call for a quote - The quote will likely be several hundred dollars less than Macy's and they will give you a headpiece of your choice for free.
I got my Demetrios dress at Bridal Suite in BayShore. They beat Macys price by a few hundred dollars.
bought it at Princess Bridals in farmingdale for a much better price
