Denisemang - how are you?

Long time, no speak! Are you getting so excited? The days must just be dragging for you! I am going to Bermuda next month and I feel like time is standing still. It must be so much worse for you!

I am still in the midst of my hunt for a DJ. I have actually taken a break. Stan Wiest seems really cool and I plan on meeting with him. I have an appointment with QT Productions. I am not sure if I get the same 'your wedding is important to me' vibe that I get from Stan, but QT is a few hundred dollars cheaper.

Sometimes I think I would like to make CDs and play them myself! I know that my crowd will not even notice the DJ becuase they will dance no matter what. Several years ago at my grandparents 50th anniversary party my six siblings and I made our grandfather teach us the mambo so that we could dance to the old fogey music at the party! And we did

I'm sorry, I can't remember. Where are you getting married?

Hi Becky

I just got so excited when I saw my name posted! I was like, 'Oh a message for me from Becky!

I am doing great. Getting a little nervous to be honest, but I think that is normal! We have a week from tomorrow and we are getting married at John Anthonys. I have a great dj (from what I have heard of him and seen). If you can hold off a week from signing up with anyone, I will let you know how he turns out. He is a great guy, nice personality, works out of his home (I have about 10 girls at work that have used him for their weddings over the years) and he is very reasonable. We are paying $850 for 5 hours dj/mc. We dont need lights or anything fancy. You should consider it. I will let you know HONESTLY how he was when I get back from my honeymoon.

Oh, John Anthonys. I knew it was someplce that I have seen a ton of rave reviews about on this board. Never been there myself, but it sound great

So who is your DJ? I am not meeting with DJs until the weekend of June 1st. So, if you have time to write a little review for us before you take off from your honeymoon, that would be helpful I so love these little guys!

My plan is to head to LI, meet with DJs and sign a contract before heading home. I did that with the reception and the photographer so far. It makes for a hectic weekend, but it keeps my trips to Li to a minimum.

So what do you still have to take care of before the big day? Anything?

Oh, that is right. I keep forgetting that you are planning from out of state. Hmmm. My wedding is over at 6:00 on Saturday, by the time we get home it will be maybe 7:00 - 8:00. Then we are off to our honeymoon at 2:00 in the morning. So, I am not sure if I am going to get a chance to get on the computer. Shoot. Hmmm. Why don't you let me give you his information and you go and see him while you are here. He is in Lindenhurst. Where are you going to be?
