deodroant??

OK - so are you putting deodorant on before or after the dress goes on?
and - what type have you found REALLY leaves no white residue??

I use secret platinum protection...

I will probably just put it on after I get out of the shower.

It's a good deoderant and lasts all day.

I use Almay Clear Gel. Lots of girls swear by Secret Platinum, but when I went for my first fitting there was a bride that used it for the first time that day and her pits were yellow!! The woman at the salon said she has seen that on quite a few brides.

I would have to agree.. found it the week befor emy wedding. It did its thing. I also put it on after I put my dress on. The photographer actually snapped a pic

I put it on as soon as I got out of the shower, then I had my hair and M/U done. It was a few hours before I put my dress on.

I would def recommend a clear gel, I use Soft & Dri with a baby powder scent.

I swear by Certain Dri... It's intense but you put it on every night before you go to bed. It blocks your pores in your pits so you don't sweat at all or smell... Read up on it and do a search on the forums, I know I'm not the only one who uses it....

i used that when i was younger....it defintaly does work! i dont know about smell....i never smell hehe but i no it stops sweating!

I used the Certain Dry also, your derm can give you a subscription. I think it is more for excessive sweaters but it really comes in handy for these dressy occasions - I'll use it in the summer too sometimes just to be safe under tight T's..
Warning though, test it first as it can make your armpits itchy when you use it at night :) I have never had that problem the nexy day but ya never know.....better safe then sorry!

I did the same. I find that if I put it on as soon as I get out of the shower and let it 'dry' before I get dressed, I don't get any white residue

i use certain dry every night EXCEPT if i just shaved bc then it makes me SO itchy - it definitely works but i still use Lady Speed Stick invisible dry in the day - bc otherwise i would feel gross like i forgot to put on deodorant! LOL
