Ok. So I jumped into planning a little to quickly and put a 500 deposit on a hall in Suffolk. Can anyone help me get it back? Aren't there some laws or something? Or do I have to just hope for the best? THE CONTRACT WAS NOT SIGNED BY US! It is just a order form. I signed nothing... help me!

Suffolk county has laws for catering halls. Basically they assume that if you cancel more than 6 months before the date the hall can rebook and that the hall has so give back money (I think they can keep like $150)
My RH is in Sufflk. My contract says that you get everything back except 500.00 6 months before the day

that's a load of bull...they're only allowed, by law, to keep $100 dollars if you cancel 6 months or more before the date..be careful with your hall that they aren't saying that to just keep more of your money

I LOVE YOU ALL. I definately have 6 months seeing as the ex- date was 11/07. I will send my certified letter and then make a call!
