I have a few appointments with vendors coming up and I just wanted to know what is the usual protocol regarding deposits and balance payoffs. Do they all ask for a deposit up front, and if so, what percent. Also, do you continue to make payments every so often or do you pay the remaining balance in a lump sum? If so, how close to your actual wedding date do you pay the balance. Sorry so many questions. FM me if you don't want to post. Thanks

Each vendor that you want does require a deposit. What the deposit is usually ranges from vendor to vendor. Some of them do ask that you pay them off during the time until your wedding and some do not. Those that did not ask for a payment schedule, I have been sending money anyway.

Almost all your vendors are going to want a deposit.. most ask for small amounts just to hold the date... if you want specifics, fm me and I can tell you what we paid.. Then after that, depending on how they do it, they can ask for one more payment... then the remaining the day of the wedding. Each vendor is different...

Be sure to try to keep your deposits as low as possible in case you should need to cancel with them. That way you don't lose too much money!
